Self-care is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves. It comes in many different forms; listening to music, having a bath, going for a walk. What we define as self-care is unique to each person. In times when we struggle, self-care becomes one of the most important and beneficial things we can do. What have you done for your self-care lately?
How can we begin to cope or overcome the things we struggle with if we don’t know what it is or where it comes from? There may be great learning’s and reflections that can come from our pursuit of self-awareness. Or perhaps just a few moments of your day spent being consciously aware of yourself, your thoughts and your feelings can give us a glimpse of how we actually are and what is going on. Awareness gives us the opportunity to make choices to move forward.
